Member
The Member role is the default and most restricted platform role in Qualytics. Members have standard access inherited entirely from their team memberships. They can view library content, manage their own tokens, and interact with datastores only through team-granted permissions.
Who Should Have Member Access?
Member is designed for data quality analysts, business analysts, data stewards, and general users who need to:
- Access datastores through team membership
- Generate and manage their own personal access tokens
- View library content and tags
- View notification rule configurations
- Work within datastores based on their team permission level (Editor, Author, Drafter, Viewer, Reporter)
Tip
Member is the default role assigned to new users. Combined with the right team permissions, Members can perform most day-to-day data quality tasks without needing elevated platform-level access.
Includes
Member is the base role — it does not include any other roles.
