License Getting Started

License management is available for self-hosted deployments only. It allows users with the Admin role to monitor license expiration, generate license request codes, and apply signed licenses.
Permissions
Only users with the Admin role can view and manage the license. See the Permissions page for the full matrix.
Deployment Configuration and Licensing
Self-hosted deployment setup uses four separate values:

|---|---|---|
| Container registry token | Provided by Qualytics before installation | Allows the cluster to pull Qualytics container images. |
| Deployment identifier | Provided by Qualytics before installation | Identifies one deployment. Add it to the Helm values exactly as provided, do not encode it, and keep the same value for upgrades. Never reuse it for another deployment. |
| License request | Generated by an Admin from the running deployment | Captures the information Qualytics needs to issue an initial or renewed signed license. |
| Signed license | Returned by Qualytics after processing a license request | Activates or renews the deployment license when an Admin applies it in the platform. |
The deployment identifier is required Helm configuration, but it is not a license. For installation details, see Self-Hosted Deployment.
Protect License Values
Arrange an approved secure transfer method with your Qualytics account team or support team before sharing a license request or receiving a signed license. Do not place these values in ordinary email.
