Update AgentQ Integration

A Manager or Admin can change the AI provider, its provider-specific settings, or the shared Business Context without losing conversation history. The change applies to the entire deployment, so all users use the updated configuration.

Prerequisites

  • A Qualytics account with the Manager or Admin role. The AI provider configuration is a deployment-wide setting, so no team permission is involved.
  • An AI provider already connected. See Add Integration if none is configured yet.
  • If you are switching to an external provider, the credentials and any provider-specific configuration it requires.

Steps

Step 1: Click the Settings icon in the bottom-left sidebar. The Settings page opens on the Connections tab.

Step 2: Select the Integrations tab.

Step 3: Locate the AgentQ section and find the entry for the connected provider. While a provider is connected, the entry is labeled with that provider's name, such as Qualytics or OpenAI.

Step 4: Click the More options menu next to the entry and select Edit.

Step 5: The Edit AgentQ Configuration dialog opens with your current settings already filled in. The fields are the same as when adding the integration; each one is described in the Field reference of the Add Integration guide. When the current provider is Qualytics, a Beta badge appears beside the Provider field and the Model, API Key, and Base URL fields stay hidden. Update any field you want to change, keeping in mind two behaviors specific to editing:

  • Leave API Key blank to keep the stored key when editing the same provider.
  • Clearing Base URL keeps the endpoint already stored rather than restoring the provider's default. Pointing it at a different host also requires re-entering the API Key, because the stored key belongs to the previous host.

Step 6: Click Update to apply your changes.

Info

Qualytics sends a minimal request to the selected provider to test the connection before applying the update. For an external provider, this test also validates any supplied credentials. If the test fails or the provider is unreachable, the update is not applied. The Qualytics provider does not require an API key, model selection, or custom endpoint.

Step 7: A success message appears and the AgentQ entry updates to show the selected provider. External providers also show the selected model; the Qualytics provider shows Managed.
