Mark a Check as Favorite

This page walks through marking a Volumetric, Freshness, or Metric check as a favorite from the Observability tab. Favorited checks are pinned to the top of the listing so you can find the ones you care about most without scrolling.

Permissions

Any user with at least Reporter on the datastore can mark checks as favorites. The favorite state is per-user, so your favorites do not affect other users. See Observability Permissions for the full matrix.

Steps

Step 1: On the check card, click Favorite in the card's action row. A tooltip labeled Favorite confirms the target before the click.

Step 2: A success message appears confirming the check was favorited. The check is now pinned to the top of the listing, and the bookmark icon renders in its filled state.

Unmark a favorite

To remove a check from your favorites, click Unfavorite on the favorited check (the filled bookmark). It returns to its default position in the listing.
