How Licensing Works
The License section displays the current license status for your Qualytics deployment. It allows administrators to monitor the expiration date, generate a license request, and apply a new license key.
Warning
License management is only available for self-hosted deployments. Managed deployments do not require a license.
Permissions
Only users with the Admin role can view and manage the license. See the Permissions page for details.
Fields
The section displays the license expiration date and provides two action buttons for license management.

Expiration Warning
When the license is expiring within 30 days, a warning icon appears next to the expiration date and the text turns to a warning color. Hovering over the icon displays a tooltip with the message "License expires in less than a month".
Grace Period
For new deployments without a license, Qualytics provides a 31-day grace period starting from the first datastore creation. During this period, all features are fully available.
- If the grace period is still active, an alert displays the number of remaining days (e.g., "A license is required after 31 days of datastore connectivity").
- If the grace period has expired without a valid license, an error alert displays "Grace period expired" and dataplane operations are restricted until a valid license is applied.
Tip
If your license is nearing expiration or has already expired, generate a license request and contact the Qualytics support team to receive a renewed license key.
