View Anomalies from the Graph
The Lineage tab surfaces anomaly counts directly on the graph so you can investigate data quality issues without leaving the canvas. Clicking the anomaly badge on a node or on a field opens the Anomalies side panel filtered to that container or field.
Info
The anomaly badge is interactive only when there is at least one active anomaly on the container or field. Containers with zero active anomalies show a check icon instead and are not clickable.
Steps
Pick the tab that matches the granularity you want to inspect.
Use this flow when you want to see every active anomaly on a container, regardless of which field they belong to.
Step 1: On any node in the graph, click the anomaly badge in the node header. The badge shows the alert icon when active anomalies exist on that container.

Step 2: The Anomalies side panel opens, filtered to that container. You can review every active anomaly on the container, drill into individual records, and take actions (acknowledge, archive, edit) without leaving the lineage view.

Use this flow when you want to see the active anomalies on a specific field.
Step 1: Expand the fields list on a node and find the field you want to inspect. Fields with active anomalies show an alert indicator next to the field row. Click the indicator.

Step 2: The Anomalies side panel opens, filtered to that field. You can review every active anomaly on the field, drill into individual records, and take actions without leaving the lineage view.

Tip
For how anomaly indicators are rendered on the graph and how field-level metadata is loaded, see Reading the Lineage Graph and Field-level Lineage.
