License Card

The License card is the fourth card on the Platform Status page. It shows when the deployment's license expires and gives you the two actions needed to renew it.
Self-hosted only
The card is rendered only when the deployment is self-hosted. On managed deployments Qualytics handles licensing, so the card is not shown at all and nothing on this page applies to you.
Fields

| Expiration Date | The date the current license expires. Its color and icon change as the date approaches. See Expiration States. |
Expiration States
| STATE | WHAT YOU SEE |
|---|---|
| Valid | The expiration date, in normal text. |
| Expiring soon | Within 30 days of expiry, the date turns warning-colored and a icon appears with the tooltip License expires in less than a month. |
| Expired | Past the expiration date, the date turns negative-colored and a icon appears with the tooltip License has expired. |
| No license applied | No license found, plus a grace-period alert. |
Grace Period
When no license has been applied, the card shows a countdown instead of a date.

A license is required after 31 days of datastore connectivity. The card counts down the days left. |
| Grace period expired | The countdown ran out. Dataplane operations are restricted until a valid license is applied. |

| Update License | Opens the dialog to paste and apply a new license key. See Update License. |
