Refresh Status Summary
The Refresh Status Summary action re-runs every health check and reloads the Platform Status page with current values. Status data is fetched once when the page opens, so this is how you get a fresh reading without reloading the browser.
Refreshing updates the Deployment, Components, and Dataplane cards. It does not capture a new diagnostics report, which has its own control. See Capture a Diagnostics Report.
Permissions
Users with the Manager or Admin role can refresh the status summary. See the Permissions page for the full matrix.
When to Use It
| SITUATION | WHY REFRESH |
|---|---|
| The page has been open for a while. | Status is fetched once when the page loads, so everything on screen is as old as the tab is. |
| You just restarted the Dataplane. | Refresh to check whether the engine is back before assuming it is still down. |
| A component shows a grey dot. | Grey means the status request itself did not return. Refreshing retries the check. |
| You are watching a queue drain. | The Thread Pool State and capacity readouts only move when the status is re-fetched. |

Steps
Step 1: Click the Refresh button in the top-right corner of the Platform Status section header.
Step 2: Loading indicators replace the field values while the checks run.
Step 3: The cards repopulate with the current values. If a check fails, an error notification appears and the page keeps the values it already had.
