Ownership Notification
An Ownership Notification keeps you on top of the things you are responsible for. When you own a quality check or a computed asset, edits made by other people land in your panel, and when someone hands you ownership of one, the notification is how you find out.

What Triggers It
An update to a quality check or a computed asset (a computed field, table, file, or join) that you own, or ownership of one being transferred to you. Two rules shape who gets one:
- Your own edits: editing an asset you own never notifies you.
- Transfers: when ownership moves away from you, the new owner is notified, not you. The transfer is their signal to start watching the asset.
What It Shows
The headline names who acted and what they did: <name> updated a check you own, or, for a computed asset handed to you, <name> made you the owner of a computed field. Below it, the reference line identifies the asset by number, followed by the check's rule type or the computed asset's name, so you can tell which of your assets moved without opening anything.

Actions
Hovering the notification reveals its actions in the top-right corner of the item.
