Assignment Notification
An Assignment Notification keeps assignees in sync: when an anomaly you are assigned to changes hands, status, or content, everyone else responsible hears about it without watching the anomaly themselves.

What Triggers It
A direct update to an anomaly that lists you as an assignee, outside of any flow. Four rules shape who gets one:
- Your own edits: updating the anomaly yourself never notifies you. Every other assignee is notified.
- Newly added assignees: a user added to the assignee list is notified for that same update. It is the first signal they receive about the anomaly.
- Removed assignees: a user removed from the list as part of the update is not notified about it.
- Anomaly creation: creating the anomaly is silent, even when a default assignee is set. The first notification fires on the next update.
Assignment or Anomaly?
The platform classifies by origin. A direct update is an Assignment; the same anomaly arriving through a flow is an Anomaly.
What It Shows
The headline names who made the change: <name> updated an anomaly you're assigned to. The reference line below carries the anomaly's number and its current status, so a status change is visible from the panel itself, before you open anything.

Actions
Hovering the notification reveals its actions in the top-right corner of the item.
