Start a New Chat
Starting a new chat clears the current chat and opens the empty state with smart suggestions. The chat is not saved until you send your first message. At that point it is created automatically, taking its title from the first 40 characters of your opening message. Sending only a file names the chat after the file instead, or File upload when the name is unavailable. See Rename a Chat to change it.
Steps
Step 1: Click AgentQ in the left sidebar. The full-page chat opens.
Step 2: If a chat is already open, click New chat at the top of the Chats sidebar. The chat clears and the empty state comes back.
Step 3: Type your message in the input field at the bottom and send it. The chat is created and appears at the top of the Chats tab, under TODAY.
Step 1: Click the round AgentQ button in the bottom-right corner of any page, or press Q. Hovering the button shows a tooltip reading AgentQ, with Press Q to chat below it.
Step 2: The floating chat opens on the empty state with smart suggestions. AgentQ picks up the page you are on and uses it as context.
Step 3: If a chat is already open, click New Chat in the floating chat header to clear it and return to the empty state.
Step 4: Type your message in the input field and send it.
