Edit an Anomaly Comment¶

Change the text of a comment you wrote on an anomaly.

Permissions

Only the author of a comment can edit it, and comments on an archived anomaly cannot be edited: restore it first. See Anomaly Permissions.

Steps¶

Step 1: Open the anomaly and scroll to the Timeline section.

Step 2: Click the menu button on your comment.

Step 3: Click Edit . The comment becomes editable.

Step 4: Change the text.

Step 5: Click Save. A success message appears, and the comment shows the new text on the Timeline.

Note

Users you newly mention while editing receive a Mention notification. Users already mentioned are not notified again.
