Delete an Anomaly Comment¶

Remove a comment from an anomaly's Timeline. This cannot be undone.

Permissions

The author of a comment can delete it, and a user with the Admin role can delete any comment. Comments on an archived anomaly cannot be deleted: restore it first. See Anomaly Permissions.

Steps¶

Step 1: Open the anomaly and scroll to the Timeline section.

Step 2: Click the menu button on the comment.

Step 3: Click Delete . A confirmation dialog appears, warning that the action cannot be undone.

Step 4: Click Delete to confirm. A success message appears, and the comment is removed from the Timeline.

Note

When the comment has replies, a placeholder reading This comment was deleted takes its place, so the replies stay visible. The confirmation dialog says so before you delete.
