Reply to an Anomaly Comment¶

Answer a comment on an anomaly. Replies are grouped into a thread under the comment, so the conversation stays together on the Timeline.

Permissions

Replying requires the Viewer team permission on the anomaly's datastore. See Anomaly Permissions.

Steps¶

Step 1: Open the anomaly and scroll to the Timeline section.

Step 2: Find the comment you want to answer.

Step 3: Click Reply below the comment. A reply field opens under it.

Step 4: Type your reply. Type @ to mention a teammate.

Step 5: Click Send , or press Enter. The reply appears in the comment's thread, which collapses into a pill such as 3 replies • last reply 20 minutes ago.

Note

Threads are one level deep: you reply to a comment, not to a reply. Comments attached to a Timeline entry have no Reply control. Use Comment on the entry instead. See Comment on an Anomaly Change.
