Update AgentQ Integration

A Manager or Admin can change the AI provider, its provider-specific settings, or the shared Business Context without losing conversation history. The change applies to the entire deployment, so all users use the updated configuration.

Prerequisites

  • A Qualytics account with the Manager or Admin role. The AI provider configuration is a deployment-wide setting, so no team permission is involved.
  • An AI provider already connected. See Add Integration if none is configured yet.
  • If you are switching to an external provider, the credentials and any provider-specific configuration it requires.

Steps

Step 1: Click AgentQ in the left sidebar.

Step 2: At the bottom of the AgentQ sidebar, under Manage, click Settings . Beside the Manage label, a status dot and the provider name, or Not connected, show the current state. The Settings entry appears only for the Manager and Admin roles. With a provider connected, the page is titled Settings with a Connected pill, and opens on the General tab with your current setup already filled in.

Step 3: Under Connection, change what you need:

  • To move between the Qualytics-managed provider and your own, pick the other path: Easy setup (Beta) or Custom setup.
  • Within Custom setup, the fields are the same as when adding the integration, and each one is described in the Field reference of the Add Integration guide. Two behaviors are specific to editing: leave API Key blank to keep the stored key when the provider, authentication method, and credential destination are unchanged, and note that clearing Base URL keeps the endpoint already stored rather than restoring the provider's default. Changing an authentication method or credential destination can require entering credentials again. For API Key, Apigee, and secret-header behavior, see Using an Apigee-Fronted or Header-Gated Gateway.
  • Edit the Business Context as needed.

Step 4: To change the data sharing level as well, open the Access Control tab. See Configure Access Controls.

Step 5: Click Save changes. While there is something to save, the hint beside the buttons reads You have unsaved changes; Discard returns the page to what is stored.

Info

Qualytics sends a minimal request to the selected provider to test the connection before applying the update. For an external provider, this test also validates any supplied credentials. If the test fails or the provider is unreachable, the update is not applied. The Qualytics-managed provider does not require an API key, model selection, or custom endpoint.

Step 6: The toast AgentQ settings saved appears and you return to the chat. Under Manage, the provider name reflects the change: Qualytics AI for Easy setup, or the external provider's name.
