Container Links and Synchronization
A synchronization is the metadata exchange between Qualytics and the catalog over the linked assets, in two directions you choose independently. Pull brings supported catalog metadata into Qualytics, and Push sends Qualytics metadata to the catalog. Exactly what each direction exchanges depends on the catalog; every catalog's own page documents its supported asset types and outputs in its Synchronization section, listed under Supported Data Catalogs. A linked container takes part in both directions.
There is no container-level synchronization
Synchronizations run at the datastore level only, and cover the container's links along with the rest of the datastore. The container's dialog just shows a hint pointing you there. For the two scopes and how to start one, see Data Catalog Links Synchronization at the datastore level.
A container link's Last Synced stamps whenever a synchronization exchanges metadata for it, whichever scope ran.
