Certify an AI Use Case

Move an AI Use Case from Draft through review to Certified, so its evidence can be generated. Certification is a two-person job: the author submits, and a Manager of the bound datastores, or an Admin, approves. See Capture the Evidence and the certification lifecycle.

Permission Required

Submitting for review needs the Author team permission on every bound datastore (and, for Members, ownership of the record). Certifying or revoking needs the Manager role plus Editor on every bound datastore, or the Admin role. See Permissions.

Submit for Review (author)

Step 1: In the recipe, reach the Evidence step with a baseline captured. Or open the AI Use Case page from the record list.

Step 2: Click Submit for Review. The badge changes to In Review.

Step 3: Share the page with the approver. Qualytics does not send an approval notification.

Certify (approver)

Step 1: Open the AI Use Case from the record list, or open the recipe's Evidence step through Open in Recipe.

Step 2: Review the bound inputs and the baseline. In the recipe, set Certification valid through (optional) if the approval has a validity date.

Step 3: Click Certify. The badge reads Certified, with the expiry date when one was set, and Generate Attestation becomes available to the author.

Other Transitions

  • Send back to Draft returns a record In Review to Draft, for the author to adjust it.
  • Revoke withdraws a certification. A revoked record returns to Draft through Adjust Model or Inputs on its page.
  • An Expired record is submitted for review again and certified anew.
