Start a New Conversation
Starting a new conversation clears the current chat and opens the empty state with smart suggestions. The conversation is not saved until you send your first message — at that point, it is automatically created using the first 80 characters of your opening message as its title. You can change this title at any time from the Rename a Conversation page.
Via Agent Q Page
Step 1: Click Agent Q in the left sidebar to open the full-page chat interface. The empty state appears with personalized smart suggestions — type in the input field at the bottom to begin.

Step 2 (if a conversation is already open): Click the New Chat button in the top-right corner of the chat area to clear the current conversation and return to a fresh empty state.

You can also click the New Chat button in the Chats sidebar toolbar.

Via Floating Chat
Step 1: Click the Agent Q button in the bottom-right corner of any page to open the floating chat.

Step 2: A fresh empty state opens with personalized smart suggestions. Agent Q automatically detects the page context and uses it in the conversation.

Step 3 (if a conversation is already open): Click the New Chat button in the floating chat header to clear the current conversation and return to a fresh empty state.
