Update a Flow
Update an existing Flow by editing its nodes (the Flow's general information, the trigger, or any action). Edits stay as unpublished changes until you publish them.
Permission Required
You need the Manager role to edit and publish Flows. See Flow Permissions for details.
Read-only while executions run
While the Flow has executions in progress, its canvas is read-only. Wait for them to finish or abort them first.
Steps
Step 1: Navigate to the Flows page by clicking Flows on the left side panel.
Step 2: On the Definitions tab, click the Flow you want to edit. Its canvas opens.
Step 3: Click the node you want to change. Its settings panel opens on the right-hand side.
Step 4: Make your changes and click Save. The edited node shows a CHANGED badge next to its name, and the You have unpublished changes banner appears on the canvas. Repeat for any other nodes you want to change.
Tip
If you make changes that you don't want to keep, click Cancel in the You have unpublished changes banner to discard them and restore the last published version of the Flow.
Step 5: Click Publish in the top right corner to make the changes live. The badges clear and a success message confirms that your Flow has been updated.
Warning
If the Flow is not published, the changes are not saved. Always publish the Flow after editing to keep your changes.
